Taking responsible risks - Some people are very reluctant to take risks. Fear of failure is far greater than the experience of the adventure. There is a voice in their head saying, "If I don't try, then I can't fail". These people are more interested in knowing if their answer is right than in the process of finding the answer. My "Taking Responsible Risks" is different from the "Taking Responsible Risks" from the description. I took risks in order to getting the right answer. It was really difficult to take risks because I wanted to make sure I had the right answer and not take risks and then think, "did I write the right thing?". I prefer not taking risks and getting a zero rather than taking risks and get points for it. I was afraid that even if I took the risks, I would not get any points. During the bonding test, I was unsure about all the questions so I took the risks of basing my answers on the table. At the end, I was really glad I took that risk because the answer was based on that table. However, the last question, although I had answer the question before, even if I took the risk, I still got it wrong and didn't get any points for it. I still need to learn to take risks and be optimistic about taking wrong guesses. There has been a calculated risk in every stage of American development - the pioneers who were not afraid of the wilderness, business men who were not afraid of failure, dreamers who were not afraid of action. - Brooks Atkinson
